A  super blue velvet costume 1877 style, the jacket is lined with  gold taffeta, and trimmed with braid on the collar matching the braid on the hem of the skirt. The royal blue velvet has a flower motif which adds interest to the overall picture.

The jacket tails are decorated with 6 brass buttons. The sleeves end with a pretty frill.

This is a lovely sea blue and gold basque jacket with faux suede collar and cuffs.  The large beige buttons are leather covered, the front of the basque fastens with hooks and hand stitched loops, absolutely authenic in style and construction of the 1880's.

This costume ( available for hire) has a mauve velvet lined softjacket and purple satin skirt, size 16-18.The style is drop shoulders with satin cuffs. The fullly lined jacket and skirt are trimmed with bottle green braid, the skirt is weighted at the hem in order to hang nicely as you ride. The skirt is longer on the riders left side to drape down the side of the horse over the rider's left leg. Cut and adapted from a Victorian pattern of about 1865.

On this skirt poppers have been inserted in a strip on the right side, this is a safey measure.

This sumptuous velvet costume has a dark aubergine jacket and skirt. The drop shoulder soft jacket is fully lined and trimmed with black guipur lace. The sleeves are trimmed with black and pink lace and white broderie anglais, a broderie anglais jabot (ruffle) is pinned at the throat.Cut from a Victorian pattern about 1865,and styled as illustrated in fashion magazines of the age. Size 12 ,
